That’s the driving belief behind Two Truths LLC, a newly launched women-owned business dedicated to helping individuals and teams navigate conflict with clarity, confidence, and emotional intelligence.

Founded by Aimee Merchant and Keri Wise, Two Truths takes a fresh, real-world approach to conflict resolution—one that goes beyond theory and equips people with practical skills they can immediately put to use. Through interactive training, coaching, and keynote speaking, the company helps leaders, teams, and organizations transform the way they communicate when the stakes are high.

From Conflict Avoiders to Conflict Coaches

As seasoned professionals in strategic communications, leadership development, and conflict resolution, Aimee and Keri weren’t always comfortable with conflict.

“Like a lot of people, we used to avoid it—until we realized that avoidance just made a bad situation worse,” said Merchant. “Once we started building our emotional intelligence and learning how to engage with conflict productively, it was life-changing. Now, we help others do the same.”

Recognizing the increasing polarization and tensions in today’s world, Two Truths is on a mission to equip people with the skills to communicate through differences, rather than shut down or escalate conflict.

"Most people have never received formal training in how to handle conflict. We’re just products of the examples we’ve seen around us," Merchant continued. "Some of us avoid conflict like it’s a game of dodgeball, while others charge in like a bull in a china shop. With certifications in coaching, facilitation, and conflict mediation, Merchant and Wise honed their expertise over years of training Department of Defense personnel in leadership, communication, and high-pressure decision-making. Two Truths LLC is the next step in their mission—making these critical skills accessible to businesses, teams, and individuals who want to communicate more effectively and resolve conflict in ways that strengthen, rather than damage, relationships.

"Even though we typically work with professionals, we constantly hear how these skills improve personal relationships too," Merchant shared. "I've had countless learners tell me their conversations with their kids and spouses are improving.
